Terminal V announces new location and more ahead of 10th anniversary

This new chapter will see the festival take place in a new outdoor home in Glasgow.

After the announcement of their final ever edition in Edinburgh, which took place in April this year at the Royal Highland Centre. Terminal V have just announced that they have found a new home in Glasgow with the first ever fully outdoor Terminal V festival ever staged in Scotland. 

Set to take place on Saturday 5th to Sunday 6th June 2027, this will be Terminal V's landmark 10th anniversary festival. Known for their unreal production and unmissable lineups, this is a huge chapter for the award-winning festival after closing a defining decade-long run in Edinburgh. 

With further details on the location in Glasgow to be revealed in the coming weeks as Terminal V begins unveiling plans for its 2027 edition. What we know so far is that the location will be in the heart of Glasgow, which has never before hosted a music event, marking a major moment not only for Terminal V but for Glasgow’s wider live events landscape. The new site is set to have a unique multi-stage outdoor festival experience, combining Glasgow’s industrial heritage with world-class electronic music production, alongside Terminal V’s one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

Since launching in 2017, Terminal V has grown into one of the world’s leading electronic music festivals, ranked Number 1 in Scotland, Number 5 in the UK and Number 34 globally in the DJ Mag Awards. Terminal V then also cements its position as one of Scotland’s leading music tourism events. 

Talking about the new chapter, Co-Founder Derek Martin said, "As we head into our 10th anniversary year, it felt like the right moment to evolve Terminal V once again. Creating our first-ever fully outdoor festival in a new setting in Glasgow gives us the opportunity to take Terminal V to the next level, while staying true to the industrial identity that has always been part of the brand." 

Co-Founder Simon McGrath also shared his thoughts, saying, "Terminal V has grown hugely over the past decade, with audiences now travelling from across the UK and internationally to be part of it. This new setting feels like a natural fit for the next chapter of the festival, combining the industrial backdrop that has always been part of Terminal V with the opportunity to create something really special outdoors." 

Terminal V is also proud of its expansion with its Croatian edition, which takes place Thursday 16th to Monday 20th July 2026.
