On Friday 30th April to Sunday 2nd May, the charity-focused Teddy Rocks Festival will be returning to Charisworth Farm in Blandford Forum. Dabbling in a variety of genres throughout the weekend, the festival has announced who will be headlining on Friday, also known as 'the pop night'.

Known for his earlier tunes, 'Dance wiv me', to fan favourite 'Bonkers', headlining on Friday is going to be none other than grime pioneer Dizzee Rascal. Previously honoured with Brit Awards, MOBOs, and an MBE, he remains one of the UK’s most dynamic live performers.

Returning bigger and better than ever, the award-winning charity festival promises another unforgettable weekend of music, community, and family fun. Since 2011, the festival has raised £1,000,000, which supports children’s cancer charities, helps children and families going through treatment, and funds research into childhood cancer.

Festival founder, Tom Newton, commented, "Dizzee and his team have really gotten behind the cause we’re all fighting for, and we are super excited to make this announcement for our Friday night lineup. He’s a huge household name, and we all love and enjoy his music. We’re extremely grateful for their support and can’t wait to see it all come to life." Continuing, he shared, "We have lots of amazing acts to share with you across the next few weeks; it will be a really special weekend. And most importantly, with your support, it’ll help raise funds for some amazing charities doing the important work."
