Static Suns to play Live@Troon 2019
The band formed in August 2015 as a three-piece band consisting of Michael Paxton as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist, his younger brother Thomas Paxton on the drums and Paul Mooney playing the bass.

Their track titled debut ep ?Hopefool? was released in December 2017 and proved popular securing them an appearance on STV?s Live @ Five show. Since then the band have been going from gig to gig playing in many prestigious venues across Scotland.
Their varied influences come together on these tracks to create a unique and dynamic sound offering up ?Strobe Light? with its Frusciante Funk and Hendrix tones and ?Still Not Coming? with its heavy, hypnotic rhythm a style recognisable in bands such as Foals and Kasabian.
Static Suns are gaining recognition for their hard work in Ayrshire and are now beginning to break onto other stages across the music scene in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
