LONDON’S BIGGEST OUTDOOR DANCE EVENT RETURNS!
AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND
SAT 26TH / SUN 27TH AUGUST 2006
LONDON / CARDIFF
Following two years of sell out events the South West Four festival returns in 2006 spread over the August Bank Holiday Weekend giving clubbers in both London and Cardiff the opportunity to enjoy what is fast shaping up to be one of the UK’s premier dance events! As part of the Metro Weekender 2006, Saturday 26th sees us begin the weekend at our spiritual home on Clapham Common in London for our third year welcoming 20,000 dance music fans to worship at the temple of rave whilst and for the first time on Sunday 27th August we not only bring our unique party vibe, but some of the biggest names in dance to Coopers Field, Bute Park in Cardiff!
Conceived in 2004, the South West Four initially started as a party for 10,000 of London’s clubbing elite dancing the afternoon away to the likes of Sasha, Xpress 2 and Erick Morillo. 2005 saw the event double in size and stature as a world heavyweight line up including the likes of Carl Cox, Sasha and John Digweed performed to over 20,000 smiling faces. This year’s event not only sees us host parties in both cities but also join forces with fellow London co-horts Get Loaded In The Park (the event that takes place a day later in London) to offer party people in both cities the opportunity to buy weekend tickets to both events!
