Some may be biased in saying June is one of the best months of the year, and despite having no favourites here at Skiddle, we have to admit that any month revolving around summer gets some extra points from us. And as June is the next month in the calendar, that means a whole new round of European festivals to shine some light on.
With the blast of the heatwave, nothing quite beats standing in a different country, activating not just holiday mode, but festival mode too. And luckily for you, we have a sensational list of some of the best festivals in Europe with our big fat festival guide: Europe edition. Active since 1996, Graspop Metal Meeting is simply one of the heaviest and most impressive heavy metal festivals in Belgium. However, this is more than just a music festival; it creates a community with a festival fair and a metal market full of hidden gems. Signing sessions, a classic rock cafe, and some of the best food stalls that Belgium has to offer. And remember, Graspop is a cashless festival, so make sure you gather all yours before rocking out this summer.

With ridiculously good lineups and a unique atmosphere like no other, if there is any place where you should be moshing this summer, it should be here!
