Skiddle to host panel at Sound City +

Liverpool Sound City is undoubtedly one of the best places to discover music in the country, but it's also traditionally been a fantastic conference for the music industry too. This year the conference aspect has been separated into Sound City + on the Friday beforehand, and we'll be there hosting our own panel.

At 10am on May 27th we'll be delivering Ticket to Ride, with our Head of Content and Communication Jimmy Coultas chairing a three man panel looking at the future of the ticketing industry with these four key subjects:

• How useful are ticketing companies, and what is it you can get from them/use them for?
• How important is the transparency of the fees?
• Secondary Ticketing markets - is it a necessary evil or just wrong?
• How do you see technology playing a part in events in the future?

Joining Jimmy in the discussion will be Chris Massey of Elecktricks, Tom Lawson from the UK Festival Awards and Threshold Festival Director Chris Carney. Head here and below for Sound City+ tickets.
