Few things in life are more enjoyable than a Greg Wilson set when you're in the mood for a dance. A selector who needs little to no introduction, the edits maestro always delivers the goods, spinning re-imagined classics and soulful gems to music lovers of all ages at some of the finest festivals and clubs.

Greg began DJing back in 1975 and enjoyed successful residencies at defining clubs in the early eighties including Legend and The Hacienda. Following a 20 year break from playing, the Liverpoool-based artist returned to DJing in 2003 before securing club shows at world-famous venues like Fabric, Ministry of Sound and Sub Club.

With an encyclopedic musical knowledge, Greg has documented key eras of dance music through his blog, all the while exploring new themes and ideas through his own platforms including, most notably, his Super Weird Substance label.

His mix for us was recorded live from Farmfest in Somerset this summer, and is filled to the brim with eurphoric electrofunk goodness alongside classic grooves. You can expect the same sort of quality selections at Hare and Hounds in Birmingham on 6th October, as Greg headlines Athletico.
