Widely considered as a one of underground house music's best selectors, Ralph Lawson has been a key part of the UK's dance scene for over two decades. As resident at Leeds' legendary Back To Basics clubnight and owner of the 2020Vision imprint, his keen ear has established him a loyal following of music heads.

His mix for us is a groove-laden eclectic offering filled with dubbier house tracks and acid-powered dancefloor shakers. Well executed and filled with under-the-radar gems, it's a true representation of the type of dance goodness which is shaping Lawson's sets at the moment.

It comes in the lead up to a open-to-close, six hour set for Metric at Versions in Manchester, previously known to many as Joshua Brooks. Expect more of the same genre-flittering power for a masterclass as he goes all night long.

Metric is the newest venture from the team behind one of Manchester’s longest running nights, Majefa. With the trance night closing its doors for good last year, it allowed them to put full steam behind a new project with a house and techno edge.

Tickets for Metric are available below.
