Scottish seven piece Skerryvore to play Carlise

Scottish folk six piece bring their bagpipes to Carlise's Old Fire Station in May.

With six album releases, including an SNMA Record of the Year win for their 2010 eponymous album, Scottish indie folk band Skerryvore have an extensive career spanning just over a decade. The band mix traditional Scottish folk, with strings, pipes and an accordion being blended with crashing drums and catchy guitar hooks.

Having sold out shows in the Scottish city of Glasgow following their successful tenth-anniversary tour, Skerryvore now return for more live dates. The come to Carlisle's Old Fire Station on Sunday 7th May for a night of their original folk and indie sound.
