Trance and prog titans Rong have released tickets for a massive hometown party to celebrate their 8th birthday. The wild and ecstatic rave will pull a near all-nighter in the Cotton Sheds at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on Saturday 1st December.
The crew have pulled out all the stops for the celebratory occasion, with headliners being Cosmic Gate, Solarstone, Giuseppe Ottaviani and Marco V. The birthday is the first time the UK will have seen a Cosmic Gate show since mid summer, with the German duo having spent the last part of the year entertaining some of the biggest festivals in the world like Tomorrowland and in the far east and America.
Displaying a classic appreciation for both the legends and the new school, Rong's invitation for standard bearer Solarstone to join them at the party alongside Giuseppe Ottaviani is a manouvre typical of the no-holds-barred party.
Solarstone has been flying the flag for the pure trance sound for over 20 years whereas Giuseppe Ottaviani, though a former member of NU NRG, has only really come into his own as a solo trance artist in the last decade. Dutch DJ and producer Marco V is the perfect balance to complete the line up.
