His career was ignited in the late nineties when he was jailed for Djing at an ilegal rave in Leeds. Rob was given a 3 month jail term and remains one of the only DJs to go to prison for the cause of 'Acid House. Rob used the experience in a positive way to find work at the biggest clubs in the North of England and also the rest of Britain. Over the years, Rob has played everywhere from Angels in Burnley, Progress in Derby, Cream, Ark in Leeds, The Hacienda, The State, Garlands, 051, Crunch in Birmingham, De Ja Vu in Hull, Galactica, Fantazia, Rezurrection in Scotland, Kellys, The Point Inn, The Network Club, Arena in Northern Ireland, and the The Empire in Middlesborough to name but a few. Rob is also Creator of the seminal dance classic 'The Day Will Come' as his alter ego Quake with Ian Bland. The track along with many others has appeared on a raft of 'Best of' house music compilations and is currently riding high in the Beatport, Juno and Trackitdown.net charts with brand new mixes from several top level remixers. the Heatbeat mix is currently being played by Armin Van Buuren and a host of the best DJ's on the planet. Over the years Rob has received constant support by Galaxy, capital fm, Kiss, radio 1 and many internet radio stations. He has also done the radio 1 essential mix and been broadcast live from Ibiza on the Dave Pearce Dance Anthems show. Rob hosts his own Old Skool radio show once a month on OSN Radio which heavily features all the many mash ups he produces in order to give his 3 deck sets such a unique flavour. Rob has built up a fearsome reputation on the current Old Skool circuit. He regularly plays the main stages of events such as Retro, Bowlers, Raindance in London, SOS Ibiza, Rejuve, History Of House, Joy, S2S events, Back By Dope Demand, Reminesce, and a host of other brands. Even after more than 25 years in the business, rob is still able to remain fresh & current due to his versatility and he loves every single minute of it!!!
