Highest Point festival has revealed that the first headliner for the 2022 edition of the festival will be Richard Ashcroft, an absolutely huge name. It comes off of the back of a hugely successful 2021 edition of the festival which saw Rag N Bone Man, Rudimental, Rick Astley and more head to Williamson Park to play in front of 35,000 people.
Taking place from Thursday 12th-Saturday 14th May, Highest Point will be even bigger than usual. With Richard Ashcroft playing, expect to hear a selection of The Verve songs and Ashcroft's highly praised solo work, including songs from his latest album Acoustic Hymns Vol.1. Thursday tickets for Highest Point officially go on sale this Thursday 25th November at 10am and will be £42.50 per adult.
Full weekend tickets will also be on sale at the same time for £125 per adult. The full lineup for the festival is yet to be announced but you can expect to see a varied range of styles from chart-topping pop stars to indie legends and dance music floor fillers.
