A near sell-out crowd and The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Gary Millar, turned up to see one of the biggest Urban Nights Liverpool has seen in years.

Taking place at Liverpool?s O2 Academy, Celebrity Big Brother runner up Dappy headlined with support from 4Saken and a whole host of local urban talent.

Our reviewer Mark Johnstone was there? Not only did the evening feature Dappy, there was also the best of the best in local urban talent including Janiece Myers, 4Tunetella, Jamie Broad, Sprungy, Innuendo, Ellis C and Jack and Miss Stylie.

Each act had their own unique style showing the many variations of urban music on the Liverpool scene and there was something for everybody in the audience.

By 9.30pm we had already witnessed more than 5 performances and there was still much more to come! Mikey, Rachael, Kane and guitarist Rida better known as 4Saken. With the help of Innuendo, Sprungy and 4tunetella, 4Saken performed their brand new album Re:Written in its entirety. The album is a great blend of RnB and Hip Hop and performed it in absolute style!

Next was a superb one off performance of the Liverpool All Stars performing their new song "Sirens", which has already had over 30,000 views on SB.TV. Joined by Jeopardy, Jamie Broad, Merki, Janiece Myers, Innuendo and 4tunetella the track was performed for the first time since it's official video release. The fact Lord Mayor Gary Millar was in the crowd made the performance even more special.

Following 4saken and Liverpool All Stars was Kent DJs Draig Cavid, who teamed up with local MC Miss Stylie. A great selection of garage, drum and bass and bassline continued to liven the audience up for the star attraction.

Although he was running a little bit behind schedule, it was sure worth the wait as his highly energetic stage presence and hit singles such as No Regrets had the crowd going mental and almost turned the room into a sauna.
