Many of you may not be aware that in the last few years, Record Store Day (RSD) have expanded its offerings to a second day of the year, Black Friday. With a whole new, albeit smaller, batch of exclusives for vinyl collectors and fanatics to get their hands on.

Yesterday, RSD unveiled the full list of Black Friday exclusives for 2025, and as always, it’s a crate-digger’s dream. Across nearly 175 releases, the haul includes everything from never-before-issued classics to represses of rare and coveted records to brand new live cuts and everything in between.

Record Store Day Black Friday takes place on Friday 28 November 2025 – click here to find the full list!

Highlights include limited edition vinyl from Sam Fender & Olivia Dean (releasing a special joint version of Rein Me In from People Watching, with a live b-side), Fred Again... (Re-releasing all his Actual Life EPs), Icona Pop & Charli XCX (Releasing their iconic single 'I Love It' with remixes), Maribou State (10th anniversary edition of their debut album Portraits on a stunning splatter pressing), Billie Eilish (Birds of a Feather 7"), and over 100 artists across a variety of genres, ensuring something for every music fan.

Chappell Roan also makes her RSD debut, issuing her tracks 'The Subway' and 'The Giver' together on a lavender-coloured 7”. Following a year that’s seen her ascend to pop’s most-watched star, expect queues forming early for this one.

On the electronic front, Faithless will release Live in 24’, bringing their euphoric, festival-conquering sound to wax in a set that’s primed to become a collector’s item. With The Orb also re-releasing their unique 15th anniversary collaboration with David Gilmour, Metallic Spheres, on pearlescent Metallic Sunrise colour vinyl.

Meanwhile, psych-rock juggernauts King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard keep things suitably weird with Live in 24, pressed as a paper-aeroplane-shaped picture disc. Equal parts art piece and audio trip, it’s the kind of release that defines RSD’s (and King Giz's for that matter) more playful side.

Also joining the lineup: a 10th anniversary edition of Young Fathers’ breakthrough album White Men Are Black Men Too. Originally released in 2015, the record’s fearless genre collisions - from rap to noise to gospel - still sound as radical as ever, making this a timely reissue for one of the UK’s most inventive bands.

With so much on offer, RSD Black Friday once again proves itself as more than just a shopping day. It’s a celebration of vinyl culture at its most obsessive, unpredictable, and alive. Make sure to check out the list and decide what you're after. We'll see you in the queue!
