Multi-genre furry dance event New Furizons comes to Factory Project in Liverpool on Saturday 23rd September 2023. Tickets available now.

Before we get into the details of this event, you may be wondering what a furry is.

A furry is someone with an interest in anthropomorphic animal characters - that’s animals with human qualities like human intelligence, facial expressions, walking on two legs, and speaking.

This brand new event, for furries by furries, welcomes artists and DJs (many of which are furries themselves) from England and beyond to spin UK garage, DnB, hardstyle, nu rave, and electro swing to other furries.

The company behind it, Event On, which is based in the Midlands, aims to host the best furry music event ever in the UK by creating this cooperative event between artists and the community. Having worked on huge events including Leicester's Beyond Festival and having installed lighting and sound in Area just outside Manchester's Gay Village, the team behind it has all the experience needed to make their vision a reality.

On the lineup for the event is Foon, an artist who has performed at Londonfur Summer and Winter, Kittz, who has performed at Animalz, Confuzzled, and Londonfurs,

On the lineup for the event is seven furry artists who’ve performed at some of the UK's biggest events including Animalz, Confuzzled, Frantic Eufuria, Scotiacon, and Londonfurs. These artists are Orlando’s r u s s e l b u c k and Gojii, as well as Foon, Kittz, Renby, Mallard/Gryphon Alpha, and Sable, spanning multiple dance genres.

Going down in Liverpool's Factory Project, a 1,200-capacity warehouse-style venue, the party will be spread across two floors with two bars, a comfy chill zone, a free bag storage area, a food truck, and a fursuit lounge with benches and tables to make changing easier.

In terms of production, there'll be a huge LED screen wall behind the artists on the decks, a powerful lighting rig on the ceiling, and lots of steamers and smoke jets because no one wants to spend hours cleaning confetti off their fursuits.

Finally, New Furizons has partnered with selected local Liverpool hotels to give ticketholders 15% off hotels. At the time of writing, these hotels are Dockside Lodge and Hotel Anfield.

Secure your tickets now for what's set to be the best event for furries!
