Contrary to the rather enigmatic social media campaign that preceeded the release of this year's A Moon Shaped Pool, emblazing a gigantic 'angry bear' logo across a stretch of grass at the Pyramid Stage is hardly a discreet move for Radiohead.
After being spotted on a BBC webcam, rumours began to surface of Radiohead returning to the stage for the first time since 2011. Now it has been confirmed that the logo, first used to promote 2000 single 'Kid A', was in fact the indication that Radiohead are the first act confirmed for Glastonbury next year - playing Friday 23rd June.
They first appeared at the festival in 1997, exhibiting the formidable Ok Computer, before returning to the stage six years later in what has been flagged as one of the festival's finest. They also performed a secret set at the Park Stage in 2011.
Daft Punk and Lady Gaga are widely speculated to join Thom Yorke and co, with Guns N Roses, The Stone Roses and Kings Of Leon being more names added to the hat.
