Preview: South West More with Eric Prydz, Pete Tong and more

For the last decade SW4 has been an essential component of any clubber’s calendar. The crowning glory of festival season, it’s the last hurrah for August and has been bolstered by the finest DJ names year in year out. A cursory glance at this year’s line up deftly confirms this; Carl Cox, Armin van Burruen, Marco Crola and Sander Van Doorn among this year's stars.

For some, the weekend really will be over all too quickly and luckily there’s an antidote in the shape of an afterparty rather drolly dubbed South West More. The shindig, taking place not too far away (the postcode says it all - SW2) in Electric Brixton, will be headed up by a DJ who in recent years has become synonymous with the blistering electronics the Festvial has become famed for, the one and only Eric Prydz.

The Swedish superstar will be bringing his stadium sized grooves to the South London emporium, and as an artist who loves the festival that much he even named a track after it (check the synth driven corker above) he is the perfcet choice to carry on the fun. Also playing will be eternal dance music hero Pete Tong, Scuba, Alan Fitzpatrick and Blond:ish, with Kiddology hosting the second room.
