Regularly combining a wide variety of styles that vary from electro to techno, and breakbeat to funk, Lowdown & Dirty continue to concentrate their efforts on creating a tantalising mix of the finest in tech heavy, bass driven beats to rock the club to its very foundations. Only the finest DJs and producers have previously gained the right to play at Lowdown & Dirty, such as the likes of breaks veteran Meat Katie, Dub FX, Stanton Warriors, Deekline, Ed Solo and Krafty Kuts to name but a few; all of which goes to show that the organisers are hell bent on maintaining a bona fide high standard of world class performers.

Saturday 13th of April sees one such DJ team, the mighty Scratch Perverts.

Scratch Perverts have been dazzling audiences for years with their unparalleled turntablism skills and DJing prowess, creating sets that are both hypnotic, technically astonishing, and thoroughly  infectious.

Having played at Lowdown & Dirty’s 2nd Birthday party to an overwhelming response of enthusiastic ravers, Scratch Perverts have been welcomed back with open arms, as they prepare to tear the roof off Sound Control once more with their irresistible style of genre defying, bone rattling, body shaking goodness.

Joining them will be Lowdown & Dirty newcomers, techno and breaks pioneer Vandal, as well as breaks heroine DJ Miss Monument. They will be joining in with the philosophy of the event by combining a mixture of techno, beats, bass, and breaks to constantly keep the party moving and evolving to devastating effect.

With all the best ingredients in place then for yet another incredible night, its easy to see why Lowdown & Dirty has won the best small club/event award twice in a row (International Breakspoll Awards), and won the hearts of so many lovers of techno, bass and breaks.
