London’s hottest new venue - The Electric, in Brixton, is gearing up to host one of Britain’s most iconic dance music bands ever, the highly praised and critically lauded Faithless.
Since bursting onto the scene in 1995 with ‘Salva Mea’, the vocals of Maxi Jazz, music of Sister Bliss, and production of Rollo hit a chord with the British public that continues until now. With such a huge number of worldwide hits under their belt including 'Insomnia', 'God is a DJ', and 'We Come 1' amongst many others, the dance 3 piece went on to sell more than 15 million records worldwide, and record 6 stunning albums.
With the band’s splitting up in 2011 at Brixton being something of a difficult pill to swallow, the announcement of the return of Maxi Jazz and Sister Bliss is welcome news to the Faithless faithful and dance music enthusiasts around the world.
They have recently had incredible receptions at US Festival Ultra, as their back catalogue of anthemic classics went down a storm with everyone in attendance, as it will when they return to Brixton on Friday May 31st. Their live shows are now legendary, with production skills, lighting, and sound design all proving to be mind blowing.
Don’t miss your chance to see Faithless live at Brixton’s The Electric on May 31st.
Joining Faithless will be tech house hero Mr C of former Shamen fame, and current Superfreq boss, on the eve of the release of his latest album. London’s finest will also be represented, such as Shane Watcha of Zombies Ate My Brain, Raymundo Rodriguez, Sam Divine and Hoxton Whores.
