Preview: Canal Mills presents Bondax and Friends

Its a grim time old January. The start of the year usually follows a glorious celebration which sucks the life and funds out of most of us, and January is the victim. The parties and events dry up, but whilst the month may represent a barren dessert of club night options theres always the occasional oasis which lurks between it all.

Canal Mills in Leeds throw forward an event which encapsulates this phenomenon. They'll be inviting Lancastrian bass buccaneers Bondax to the club alongside a smattering of their friends. Their track 'Gold' was one of the biggest records of last year (it featured in our sound of 2013 playlist), the pinnacle of a throughout excellent year for the duo which also included the excellent 'Giving it All' (watch the video to that above).

Joining them in room one will be Starslinger, another expert in tugging emotion out of a scattershot selection of drums and beats and rising star Issac Tichauer. Tichauer's mix to cap off the end of 2013 showcases his talent in joyfully curated deepness, listen to it below.
