Bugged Out! favourites Simian Mobile Disco one again return to Manchester to lay their own brand of eclectic waste to the main room of Sankeys.

Former Manchester residents Jas Shaw and James Ford have recently continued their sonic dancefloor experiments with Delicacies, a collection of new warped techno cuts, heavy on the analog, easy on the vocals (read: none) and designed purely with peak hour madness in mind.

As well producing some of the most charismatic techno and electro bangers and builders of their career so far, the pair has recently worked further with Gossip’s Beth Ditto, who previously lent her distinctive vocals to SMD’s 'Cruel Intentions', one of the crossover hits from 2009’s Temporary Pleasure. James Ford has also recently completed work reprising his role as producer on the Arctic Monkeys' upcoming, as yet untitled fourth album.

With their flawless DJ sets reflecting their diverse ability as producers, expect a set that takes in all manner of directions, from pulsing indie-electro, typically weird techno and mind melting acid, balancing their own handiwork from an increasingly prolific back catalogue with some of the most forward thinking dance today.

Elsewhere, support comes from Glasgow’s Rustie, who’s spent the past few years eeking out a series of underground releases, collaborating with artists such as Joker and getting signed to Warp, no small honour for any forward thinking producer. He’s joined on the decks by Ben UFO, the Hessle audio boss. Unlike co founders Ramadanman and Pangea, UFO has never produced himself. This isn’t a slight – to get in his sort of demand with nothing of your own to spin or sell is testimony to his forward thinking, bass heavy sets.

With London and Glasgow covered at Radium Mill, assured warm and finish ups are brought to us by Manchester dancefloor staples James Holroyd, Chemical Brothers favourite and Back to Basics hero, and Will Tramp!, last seen sweating half his body weight giving Erol Alkan a run for his money last weekend.
