Leeds' Beaver Works venue has been the focal point for a celebration of a litany of differing musical genres, the collage of sounds dubbed Beaverfest (watch the promo video below). The eleventh edition swings by on February 15th with another absolute riot of arcane hedonism spread across four rooms, with each boasting a differing musical personality.
Loki Bass will be helming the Main room this time round, the Bristollian crew bringing their experience of crafting festival productions for a full frontal explosion across the senses. Music duties will be handled by a smorgasbord of bass led buccaneers Buddisht Punkz, a group of producers who have all worked as part of the live bands for The Freestylers and The Dub Pistols, and the Slamboree Soundsystem.
Over in the basement The Asbo Disco are in control, their expertise in starting riots in Bristol, Brighton, London and beyond under no doubt. With a cheeky policy of demanding an attire of cap and hoody at their events this collective push "music for the massive", repping for the underbelly of music lovers in society. Musically Jinx in Dub will be playing, his dubwise smashers backjed up by Parly B and Wonkavision.
The final two rooms sees Swing City take up residence in the Bar Room with Dutty Moonshine and Howla, whilst the Madhatter's will get busy in the Backroom with Templehead and resident DJ Clumsy. For ticketing details hover your mouse and click right here.
