Oh Sees Leeds tickets on sale

The San Fransisco garage punk rockers served up album number 19 'Orc' last year and will tear through tracks from that, along with the rest of their immense back catalogue.

San Francisco cult heroes Oh Sees are set for a UK date this summer, bringing their scuzzy, garage punk rock sound to Leeds' O2 Academy on Wednesday 11th July for a rip roaring journey through their ridiculously lengthy back catalogue.

Along with many a line up change, and also multiple name changes that have seen them dubbed Orinoka Crash Suite, OCS, Orange County Sound, The Ohsees, The Oh Sees and Thee Oh Sees, the band have also been prolific in releasing music no matter what they're called.

As what they're perhaps best know, Thee Oh Sees, the band released 12 studio albums in just an eight year period however dropped 'thee' from their name when releasing their 19th studio album Orc last year.

The album was noted for its nod toward other styles, most notably 'Afro-funk excursions that can fuse seamlessly with their signature garage-psych sound' and it will be Orc that the band will be displaying, amongst a plethora of other tracks, when they hit Yorkshire this summer.
