Newsam Park picks up where Cocoon in the Park left off

Following the departure last year of the much-loved Leeds house and techno festival, Cocoon in the Park, a new chapter is being penned with the emergence of Newsam Park - a brand new, one-day, open-air event taking place in Temple Newsam on Saturday 11 July.

Aiming to maintain the same levels, event organisers said: "To all the fearless Cocoon Team, it was a pleasure throughout. We developed, launched and delivered a very special event for the north of England and beyond.

"What a crowd though. Some of you were there every year and created such a fabulous atmosphere, never more so than in 2019. So many of you came to say goodbye and that meant so much.

"This year there will be [a] new concept intertwining the best artists from around the world. We hope to see you in the next chapter!"
