New play first to be set in a post-Brexit referendum world.

A South-East London play that deals with 4 post graduate students' lives which become entangled in politics in the run-up to the 2020 election. A near future satire in the dystopian world of the post-Brexit vote.

A new South East London writing team have devised a play that sketches out the consequences of life after the EU referendum.

Without saying which way the vote will go, the consequences are equally disturbing. The political uncertainty following a Leave vote as treaties are renegotiated, or the instability of a Remain vote following the political division and in-fighting both cause a lack of confidence in the financial markets leading to Sterling's collapse and sky high interest rates.

As a result, the US has to bail out the Bank of England to stop Gilts becoming junk bonds and in return makes some heavy demands on the UK. Among these are that the UK has to join the Euro to stabilise the currency and bring interest rates down and join the US war against a Saudi led Arab Alliance. Also Google has to run the elections to reduce future political uncertainty - anyone who doesn't vote has one cast for them based on their online activity, and preferences can be shown in real time.

In this clever and witty two-act play 3 post-graduate housemates interview a fourth and find their personal values tested as their lives become unintentionally entangled with domestic politics.
