New 380-capacity club Nocturna is set to open in Ibiza this summer.

Self-described as a “new kind of boutique nightclub”, the venue, an “audiophile-style listening room with an intimate dancefloor”, will have a no phones policy.

The venue is a collaboration between Concept Hotel Group and nightlife promoters Tokyo Industries, and will be located beneath the Los Felices hotel in Cala de Bou.

The venue’s interior was designed by creative director Soo Wilkinson and architecture firm Dukant Atelier, while its creative and music direction is led by Andrew Livesey (half of the DJ duo The Brothers Grim). Italian DJ and producer Pascal Moscheni will create the club’s visual identity.

For now, the venue’s event program will remain “under wraps”, but the club has said it will work with “a mix of international headliners, extended residencies and selected promoter partnerships.”

The island's newest addition joins Urusai Sunset Bar, the first vinyl-only listening venue, which opened last year. Urusai was founded by Jaime Fiorito, son of the late DJ Alfredo.
