Following on from the unheralded success of last year's Cultural Weekender, North West heavyweights Operation Sound System return to the walled orchard in Cuerden Valley Park on July 4th and 5th to do it all again, with an even bigger line up than their inaugural edition last summer.

The overwhelming response last year has resulted in ferocious ticket sales already, with the Operation crew extending both tickets and camping areas to accommodate the increased demand.

Hitting the line up for the family friendly this year is a wealth of dub, reggae, and roots legends, held together by the formidable dub-wise selections of the Operation crew and Daddy Teacha. Hear Operation in the mix above.

The likes of Spanish dub legend Don Fe, Manchester roots collectiveDub Smugglers, and live reggae outift ChainSka Brassika (get a flavour for them above) all take the limelight, with Inspirational Sound, Dub Central, Dutty Hands and Cranky and Krafty_PK amongst the other artists supplying the sounds over the course of the weekend.
