Autumn in Edinburgh is shaping up to be THE place to be for catching the finest artists in electronic music, with revered clubbing brand Musika linking up with Xplicit to create Nightvision - a series of carefully curated events that promise to bring 50 of the world's biggest electronic dance music pioneers to the Scottish capital.

So far a few names have been dropped in connection with the brand new rave series - they include the likes of drum n bass heroes Chase & Status (check out their live set at London's o2 above), deep house and garage trailblazers Gorgon City, Radio One tastemaker Annie Mac and Siberian techno goddess Nina Kraviz, as well as guest slots from underground visionaries Hot Since 82, Bondax, Redlight and Karma Kid.

Things get underway from mid September with an extensive menu of house, techno, electronica and bass finding its way into venues varying from 500 capacity intimate rave dens to 3000 capacity live music locales. Nightvision is set to run right through until New Year's Eve, making this one of the most exciting and ambitious run of parties Edinburgh has ever seen.

We'll be letting you in on information as it is revealed, so keep those eyes peeled.
