It goes without saying that the guys over at Mixmag know how to put on an awe-inspiring show. They continue that superb run of form at Village Underground, London on Saturday 17th January by summoning the world's biggest trap artist from across the depths of the Atlantic.

If you peer into the Mixmag Live archives then you're sure to discover that it's synonymous with high flying selectors unquestionably worth their weight in gold. Past invitees include the seismic presence of Seth Troxler, Tiga and Maceo Plex so it's only natural that this one follows suit.

Featured slap bang on Mixmag's envied cover in February, a prestigious de facto accolade in any artists book, RL Grime stands as the man in question, and also at the heart of the burgeoning trap scene in the US. (See him testing his metal in the Mixmag lab below)

His debut album Void landed in 2014, turning some serious heads  with a diligent clustering of adventurous melodies and meaty bass lines. Twin that with collaborations from the likes of Boys Noize, Djemba Djemba, Big Sean and How To Dress Well and you've got a well rounded LP worth anyone's listening that will soundtrack the core of this coveted night.
