Mixmag live presents Jamie XX at The Rainbow Venues

Mixmag Live continue their rich vein of form by recruiting production dynamo and their April cover star Jamie XX to play The Rainbow Venues on Friday 20th March. 

It goes without saying that Mixmag remain on point with what's hot in the electronic foray at any given time, previous selectors to have adorned their podium include Seth Troxler, Heidi and Tiga.

Naturally, they're a domain that commands great respect in the electronic industry, and will continue to do so with the capture of another big hitter in the Young Turks and XL Recordings maestro.

The beauty of Jamie XX is that you never quite know what you're going to get, whether he stumps up anything from a garage classic to a slice of UK grime (portrayed in his Young Turks boiler room above), one things for sure is that he approaches music with an open mind and commands the controls with great eclecticism.    

Notorious for his role in the mercury prize winning The XX, the forward thinking artist has also worked with the likes of Gil Scott Heron as well as remoulding works from the likes of Adele and Florence and The Machine.
