Leeds has long since been a place brimming with musical and artistic pedigree. With a thriving live music scene and reliably impressive clubbing culture, the Yorkshire city has nurtured a wealth of talent that continues to form a pivotal role in the shaping of the future of music in this country.

So it's pretty exciting that for the first time ever, a festival will set itself right in the centre of the city, for an 11 hour rave marathon featuring some of Leeds' most influential clubbing brands.

Concentrating mostly on Leeds' house scene, the likes of longstanding rave aficionados Back To Basics, the trailblazing, all inclusive SpeedQueen, relentless bass and house heads Insmonia and courtyard party specialists Fibre will all come together to The former Tetley's Brewery on the 28th June.

So far, Back to Basics will be inviting the likes of 'true house pioneer' Darius Syrossian (check out his live mix above), Laura Jones, Ralph Lawson and James Holroyd, whilst Insomnia enlist the skills of favourites Tchami, Cause & Affect, Tom Zanetti, Ko Kane, and Jamie Duggan, as varying eras from Leeds illustrious past are showcased across four separate spaces.

On top of all that, the festival will be complete with 'unique areas for musicians, bands and live acoustic sets, pop up stalls from fashion designers and boutiques, an actual street with food from local eateries, art exhibitions, live graffiti and much more.'
