What happens when you combine two people's deep-rooted passion and love for music, travel and charity? Maasai? a mixture of our clubbing experiences, rolled into one unique party. Rather than simply dream about setting up our own club night, we've taken the leap and will launch Maasai's first party at The Faversham (Leeds) on Friday 2nd October. We've spent months thinking back about some of our favorite club nights from all over the world, and will blend as many experiences as possible into our own series of events. Combining the sounds of House and Techno we'll host local up-and-coming DJs, breakthrough artists and live performers, promising you always enjoy a night at Massai. Why are we called Maasai? A few years ago we went on safari around the Maasai Mara in Kenya. We both completely fell in love with the natural surroundings and now want to give something back. That's why 15% of profits from every club night will be donated towards protecting the Maasai Mara and helping local Maasai communities benefit from clean drinking water and the other necessities they need to live a healthy, happy life. We are looking forward to dancing until the early hours of the morning and welcoming you all to our party. Rob and Steph x
