Liverpool's clubbing scene has for a long time now been one of the most thriving and inspiring in the country. It's with great anticipation then that Friday the 30th May will see the Merseyside city welcome some of the biggest names in electronic music to descend on the epicentre of Liverpool clubbing - The Baltic Triangle for an entire day of top notch partying.
The first raft of announcements saw the likes of Non Plus and Swamp 81 techno mainstay Boddika, genre defying innovator Lone, legendary drum n bass veteran dBridge, bass music heroes My Nu Leng and Bristolian dubstep, garage and house trailblazer Phaeleh unveiled.
The new line up additions have further cemented that The Baltic Block Party will be an unmissable celebration of electronic music in Liverpool's coolest district.
Leading the latest wave of revelations will be Berghain resident and techno master Ben Klock, whose solid, deep grooves and faultless DJing skill has made him one of the Berlin's most important underground electronic music figures. We've embedded his Boiler Room appearance above to get your techno juices flowing.
Jungle warrior Congo Natty too joins in on the action. With his storming return to production seeing his longplayer 'Jungle Revolution' become one of the jungle and drum n bass highlights of the year, Congo Natty has returned full of fire and as cutting edge as ever. Miss his set at your peril.
Elsewhere, deck wizards Stanton Warriors, Mixmag's savour of dubstep Compa, hip hop and grime specialists Beyond Average all join this increasingly monumental line up. Find out more, or bag your Baltic Block Party tickets here.
