World Darts Champion Michael van Gerwen has been revealed as the star attraction for Friday evening's Untouchables charity event at Roffey Social and Sports Club in Horsham.

Fans had been left to speculate on which darts stars were set be on show on 17 October after the promoter released a mysterious poster showing only silhouettes, promising to showcase 'many of the world's top players'.

And they fulfilled that promise with a brilliant line-up for the night, which will raise funds for Chailey Heritage Clinical Services, Bradbury Enhanced Care Service and Bipolar UK.

The announcement has been made that world number one van Gerwen, who won the World Grand Prix on Sunday, will be joined by beaten finalist James 'The Machine' Wade, who has won seven major titles in his career and is an ambassador for Bipolar UK.

Also on show will be Australia's finest chucker Simon 'The Wizard' Whitlock, 'Dutch Destroyer' Vincent van der Voort, former World Champion Mark Webster, 'The Asset' Paul Nicholson and World Youth Champion Keegan Brown.

But it has been hinted that more big names may also make surprise appearances.

Jason Thame of promoters MODUS Darts said: ?We have announced the line-up so that fans know who they are paying to coming to see but we are still hoping to add another couple of players to the event.

"To see the top players in the world on your doorstep doesn't happen very often and certainly not for this kind of value for money.

"On top of that, all proceeds go towards supporting two incredible causes so everyone who buys a ticket will be making a real difference to people's lives as well as enjoying a fantastic night of sporting entertainment."

Bipolar UK is the national charity dedicated to supporting individuals with the much misunderstood and devastating condition of Bipolar, while Bradbury Enhanced Care Service provides crucial support for young adults with complex health needs, physical disabilities and life limiting conditions.

Fans will be given the chance to take on the arrows aces before the professionals compete in an exclusive tournament.

Photograph and autograph opportunities will also be available on the night.

Tickets are priced at £15 and are available from www.dartshop.tv or 01403 210 223

Attendees are reminded that all proceeds will be split between the afore mentioned charities, with further fund-raising activities taking place on the evening.

The two previous stagings of the event have raised a combined total of over £10,000.
