Lindstrom returns to Manchester with his blistering live show

Sticky Heat are delighted to bring back the undisputed champion of Norwegian disco, Lindstrom to Gorilla in Manchester for a blistering live show. The first since his sold-out show in September 2018.

NORWEGIAN disco legend, Lindstrom, returns to Manchester on Saturday 1 February 2020 to launch new night Sticky Heat.

Hans-Peter Lindstrom is returning to the UK for his very first show since the release of critically acclaimed new album On a Clear Day I Can See You Forever, which was released on Smalltown Supersound in October 2019.

Sticky Heat is the new project by former Warehouse Project resident and former Lost in Music promoter and resident, Marco Giannini, the latter of which was nominated for best club in the 2018 CityLife Awards.

On the idea behind the new night, Marco said: ?My sound isn?t something that can easily be pigeonholed, I don?t consider myself a house, disco or techno DJ, instead I am more of an open format DJ who likes to open my ears to all music, and incorporate this into my DJ sets and now more specifically with my own night.

?Lindstrom is an act that I brought to Manchester previously in 2018 and was absolutely blown away by his live show at Joshua Brooks, so when I decided to leave Lost in Music to launch my own night, there was only one act that I wanted to bring over to launch it.

?With regards to Gorilla, it?s a venue that I?ve loved since it first opened its doors, so for me the pairing of Lindstrom and Gorilla is a match made in heaven.?

Completing the line up on the night is the head of Manchester electronic music label, Sprechen, Massey, who will be joined by recent label signings and highly rated emerging live duo, Night Giants, who have been described by BBC Introducing as "one to watch", with a live show that has been compared to the likes of the Chemical Brothers.

On his return to Manchester, Hans-Peter Lindstrom said: ?My last show in Manchester was very special, so I?m really excited to be playing an extended live show this time around.

My new album has been really warmly received and this will be my first UK show off the back of it, so it promises to be a very special night.?
