Lean Launch Party Presents Zed Bias/Randomer

Experienced promoters from LDN & MCR start a fresh night with an emphasis on bringing some of the biggest name is house/garage & techno to a new bi-monthly night at Joshua Brooks, Princess St, MCR. Lean will run on a bi-monthly basis and be on the last Friday of each month commencing on Friday Sep 27th. Lean wanted to start the night with a bang and could think of nobody better to show off the diversity of MCR than house/ukg/dubstep pioneer Zed Bias. He has been a leading figure in the uk garage since the late 90's with his top 40 smash 'Neighbourhood.' Since then he has produced under nearly a dozen pseudonyms with the most famous moniker ibeing Maddslinky which he has created many releases for the seminal label Tru Thoughts. Of recent times he has experimented with a more house/techno flavour and has a stores of releases that that are being played by DJ's such as Zane Lowe/Skream/Julio Basmore/Boddika/Mary Anne Hobbs & B-Traits. they're is also more of a rumour that a full length LP is forthcoming on Leofah's Swamp81 imprint. Furrball, his latest releases on Swamp81 saw Zed team up with fellow Mancunian Paleman and the tune never fails to get a rewind when the hypnotic synth breakdown kicks in. Lean is also uber excited by the support act for Zed Bias, none other than North Londoner Randomer. In a short space of time, Rohan Randomer has an envious catalogue of hits on Hessle Audio/Hemlock/Numbers & a new EP forthcoming on Tiga's Turbo Recordings takes Randomer's profile to the next level.
