We’re so close to seeing the first sunrise of 2026 stretch over the seven hills of Sheffield. As always, New Year’s Eve has crept up on us quicker than we thought, so it’s understandable if you haven’t got your plans entirely in place just yet.
If you’re still without a clear cut plan for New Year’s Eve in these final hours then fear not, as the Steel City has plenty of events to fit your fancy. Warehouse raves, club takeovers, comedy nights, you name it, there’s something for everyone to laugh, cry, and dance into 2026 here. Scroll down and take your pick!
Bassfest NYE DNB Warehouse Rave
When: Wednesday 31st December 2025
Incredibly, there are still tickets left for Bassfest’s NYE takeover. Easily one of the best NYE events in Sheffield this year, they bring sets from Bou, BassLayerz B2B Born on Road, T-Lex, and loads more. There'll also be dancers, food available, and of course massive basslines over a beefy soundsystem.
When: Wednesday 31st December 2025
Where: Peddler Warehouse in Sheffield
A full warehouse do to send off the year, this one unites friends and resident DJs including Queers For Beers, Apricot Ballroom, Machine Soul, and more for massive takeover. Get down for pure bangers from 7pm until 1am, and maybe check out their afters at Factory Floor!
The Last Laugh Comedy Club – New Year’s Eve
When: Wednesday 31st December 2025 (New Year’s Eve)
Where: Sheffield Memorial Hall in Sheffield
If you want to try something a little different to cap off the year, The Last Laugh Comedy Club is for you. A top-tier array of stand-up is heading to Sheffield Memorial Hall, including the Northern wit of Tony Burgess, Scottish comedian of the year Daisy Early, and Scott Bennett, fresh from Live at the Apollo. Plus, once the comedy finishes at 10.15pm, you can decide whether to head home or see in the new year with Foxy’s disco.
BASSFEST NYE ft Jamie Duggan, Denon Reed & more

Where: Tank Nightclub in Sheffield
A must see for bassline fans, Bassfest is unleashing another huge NYE showcase at Tank Nightclub. A cavalcade of genre heavyweights are set to blast wall-to-wall bassline, DnB, and high-energy raves across some seriously good sound systems. If that sounds like your thing, get it booked.
Tru:Chemistry @ Dryad Works – NYE Rave
When: Wednesday 31st December 2025
Where: Dryad Works in Sheffield
Tru:Chemistry are bringing their legendary ‘It’s a Sheffield Ting’ special NYE rave to Dryad Works, one of the best underground spots in the city. 30+ artists, 2 rooms, and a Sinai Sound System blasting bassline, DnB, jungle, and grime are on the cards all night long.
SoulTrain Sheffield – New Year’s Eve
When: Wednesday 31st December 2025
Sheffield's premier Mexican restaurant and bar, Pinã are providing a feel-good fiesta of funk, soul, and disco with SoulTrain’s New Year’s Eve special. With a 70s disco theme and a playlist gyrating with funk, soul, hip-hop, R&B, disco, and groove, this is the place in the city to dance into 2026 with.
