LIDO Festival have announced a legendary electronic auteur as their first headliner for 2025. East London local Jamie xx is set to take his talents to London's latest summer festival next month, in addition to providing a B2B set with Nia Archives. They will join an already stacked cast of artists including Arca, Sampha, Romy, and Shy FX.
Taking its name from the historic Lido Field in Tower Hamlet’s Victoria Park, LIDO is a two-weekend festival spanning Friday 6th to Saturday 7th June & Friday 13th to Saturday 14th June 2025, featuring carefully curated lineups and community-driven, sustainable activities. The festival is the latest from AEG Presents, the brand behind acclaimed festivals like All Points East and Forwards, and promises more sets and shows from alternative music’s cutting-edge minds.
In addition to his headline show on the 7th, Jamie xx’s set with Nia Archives promises to be a historic performance, being the 25-year-old Leeds-based jungle queen’s first foray into B2B. Of his headline show, Jamie xx says: “It’s always an exciting prospect playing in my home town. Having done The Floor and Alexandra Palace this year, it’s time for something else! I’m really looking forward to headlining Victoria Park, curating my own day festival and performing alongside my favourite artists.”
