As DS approaches the 9th Anniversary celebrations, we have been reflecting on nine incredible years of Trance in Leeds. It really has been quite a journey, from the opening night at MyHouse in February 2007 when 150 people turned out in the heaviest snow blizzard Yorkshire had seen for years, right through to the 2500 capacity events at O2 Academy Leeds, hosting unique production concepts, prestigious label nights, global album tours, and of course the flagship annual birthday celebrations featuring some of the biggest acts on the planet.
On February 5th not only do we celebrate 9 years of Digital Society, we also celebrate 6 years at our home O2 Academy Leeds and are very proud to welcome some of the legendary DJs from Digital Society history to perform at this very special birthday party. Ultimately it is all down to the thousands of Trance fans from across the country that have attended DS events over the last decade as we near our tenth year in the city.
