The first step is admitting it, and it's safe to say that James Blunt fans must have a difficult time admitting that they like the singer and songwriter. The 'You're Beautiful' singer understands this, as well as the burden that comes with taking a liking to any of his music.

He now offers out his own help and support to those unfortunate enough to need it through a support group for the poor, suffering individuals. Blunt recently shared a video including footage of a James Blunt fan support group. In the video, he holds the hands of various people struggling, assuring them that it's okay.

"We're all James Blunt fans here"

The former army captain has always been one of the funniest people on twitter with his witty and sarcastic remarks - mainly about himself. Although evidently a little smug and self-assured, he's also admittedly self-aware as he knows his music divides opinion. It's a wise move from him to play to his strengths and use this line of self-parody to promote his new album.

This is Blunt's fourth LP, and it comes over a decade since his debut Back to Bedlam. He has worked with non-other than final Glastonbury headliner Ed Sheeran on his new album The Afterlove and jokes that the singer had "taught him songwriting" in the process of creating this new release.

Here's to hoping that the music is half as good as his PR techniques.
