Date published: 24th Aug 2026

Earlier this year, the UK’s leading independent ticketing platform, Skiddle, launched their lastest initative, the Promoter Fund in the Republic of Ireland. Created to bring fresh ideas to life and strengthen the grassroots events scene across Ireland, the Skiddle Promoter Fund offers financial backing for successful applicants.

Catching the attention of Skiddle with their creativity and ambition behind their events, spanning festivals, theatre, club nights and live music across Ireland, the successful applicants of the Promoter Fund include Nasty Events, SBS Music, 360 Nights, Dublin Disco All Dayer, Injector Soundsystem, Bingo n Beats, and Motion Events. As well as  Nocturnal, Underground Ovation, Lee Promotions, Red Line Events, Ar Ais Arís, Smithfield Creatives, Spraoi Mór, Division Galway, Into The Void, Hysteria Productions, Equinox, Croí na Gaeilge, The Next Big Thing, Full Moon Rising, and Festival Mná.

Spanning across Dublin, Galway and Cork to Limerick, Waterford, Westmeath, Laois and beyond, the 2026 applicants of the Promoter Fund in the Republic of Ireland represent the incredible diversity of Ireland’s independent events scene, which enforces Skiddle's mission to help uplift and see the growth of these independent promoters bring new ideas to audiences across the country.

Developed by Skiddle, the fund is in collaboration with Give Us The Night, a campaign group advocating for the improvement and sustainability of nightlife culture in Ireland. Their local expertise helped shape the initiative and continues to meet the needs of promoters operating within the region.

Head of Marketing at Skiddle, Jamie Scahil, commented on the initiative, saying, "Our promoter fund is about investing in the future of live events at a grassroots level. We know that some of the most exciting ideas come from independent promoters, but getting those ideas off the ground isn’t always easy, especially in today’s landscape."

He continued: "Launching the fund in the Republic of Ireland is also a key step in our wider ambitions to grow Skiddle in new territories. Ireland has a rich and diverse events culture, and working alongside Give Us The Night allowed us to shape something that genuinely supports that scene.”

With all successful applicants selected independently by Skiddle, the Skiddle Promoter Fund was open to aspiring and established promoters alike, and designed to lower barriers to entry and empower organisers to deliver high-quality events, whether in music, culture, or community spaces.
