Independent Dutch radio stations announce 15-hour charity broadcast for Palestine

​Ten radio stations, including Echobox and Radio Radio, will take part on 28th September.

Ten independent Dutch radio stations will come together for a fifteen-hour fundraising broadcast in support of Palestine on Sunday 28th September.

’Transmission for Palestine’ will be broadcast across Radio Radio, Echobox, Folder FM, Pip Radio, Future Intel, Relate Radio, Radio Hinter, Open Source Radio, Maxi Radio, and Operator from 10am until 1am local time. 

It will include an online livestream and an in-person event at Radio Radio with live music, food and drink, and a raffle, with prizes from the raffle including club tickets, records, merch, and gift cards. The event is open to the public on a donation basis.

All proceeds from the broadcast and event at Radio Radio will go to Netherlands-based charity Plant een Olijfboom, which provides Palestinians with essential items, including medicine, water, food, and clothing.

In a post on Instagram, they said online donations will open a few weeks before the event for those who can't attend in person, and people will also be able to donate through our livestream.
