Fans of the wildest psy and Goa trance sounds are invited to clean up their spats and practice their best Italian-American accents, as a new night themed on the gangster era of the 1920s and 1930s is just about to launch.

The new night, Mobster Tales, will debut at the Troxy in London on Saturday 17th November. Special guests for the opening session are longstanding Israeli trance duo Infected Mushroom. Infected Mushroom will drop the full live band set-up they've been touring with in the US all summer in order to provide a DJ set.

Now based in the US, Infected Mushroom have over 1.5 million Facebook followers and over 14 million hits on YouTube. The duo, comprised of Amit Duvdevani and Erez Eisen, are incredibly popular purveyors of their brand of trance, with their huge support having been earned largely by word-of-mouth and a constant presence on these hardcore fringes of the trance sound. Very rarely have they benefited from the support of the mainstream music media, nor even the mainstream dance music media.

The new night is a promotion by llumiNaughty, who have earned a considerable reputation for putting on parties covering this sound, in Manchester, London and on Ibiza. Support on the night comes from DJ Liquid Ross b2b Neill Moore / NEO live, Bahar Canca, The Goblin, Alex Carroll b2b Section303 and Prog Box.
