Ikon Goes to Amsterdam

Ikon gets set for a 2 day party on board a 1500 capacity ship on route to Amsterdam!

On Friday February 26th 1500 clubbers will board the party boat at North Shields Ferry Terminal to Amsterdam For a full weekend of partying. With 4 brands involved including Ikon, KlubbedOut and North West clubbing brands Frequency and Sopranos party-goers are set for a pretty full on weekend.

Clubbers will board the party boat at 3pm at North Shields ferry terminal. The ferry will then depart at 5pm and make its way over to Amsterdam. Not long after the events on board the ferry will commence. from 9pm on the Friday until 5am on the Saturday morning the rooms will play host to 2 events. Room 1 will be hosted by Ikon. With three live acts including Belgium?s Dee Dee (Forever), Infexious and Eyeopener all performing there smash hits supported by some of the biggest acts in Clubland. Room 2 will be hosted by Klubbedout which will be headlined by the UK?s number 1 bounce DJ Rob Cain plus other DJ?s and producers like Bad Behavior, Fitzy and Rossy B + support.

On the Saturday the ferry will arrive in Amsterdam. coaches will collect everyone from the ferry and make way for a day in the Dam! Bars are plentiful and there is plenty of sight seeing to be done. The coaches will then collect everyone from Amsterdam and return to the ferry for yet another night of events with the main room again being hosted by Ikon. This event will be an Ibiza Beach party theme and fancy dress is welcomed. Headlining the Ikon Room is the trance legend 4Strings and the producer of the massive anthem ?Welcome to the Dance? Des Mitchell + support. Room 2 will be hosted by the North West dance promoters Sopranos and Frequency.

We have been discussing the idea of Ikon in the Dam for quite some time now and after lengthy discussions with the ferry operator we got the green light. The event itself takes more organising than our normal events, however after months of planning we are ready for the launch. The line up has been released and very well received and we are all looking forward to the event.
