A good nightclub lingers long in the memory, usually a lot longer than the venue itself. The shifting sands of time mean clubland morphs and mutates quicker than most, which makes the opportunity to bask in past glories such a tempting proposition.

That's even more the case when the venue in question proved hugely influential. Manchester isn't short of legendary lost club spaces, from The Twisted Wheel, Hacienda to, sadly, Sankeys, but there's no doubting the run of Home was memorable for so many.

Bringing all sorts of sounds across its programming, ranging from house to disco, techno and more, the club was open six nights a week for much of its 90s heydey and was as infamous for its lost evening's parties as it was for those steel staircases.

For one night their patent brand of luncay will be relaunched, with turns from a plethora of the residents that made the club so special, Luvdup, Bobbly Langley, and the Slammin Boys among them. Taking place in Band on the Wall on Friday 24th February, this is the opportunity to relive those halycon days, with the original management and promotions team behind the endeavour.
