Helping to revitalize the live music scene in the area, it also recognizes its rich history as a vibrant location for live music. The newly confirmed artists join an exciting and eclectic bag of established and new acts, including Biffy Clyro, Sophie Ellis Bextor, The Magic Numbers, Doves and Daniel Merriweather.

Bands will be appearing across thirteen venues, from Orchid and Punk clubs in the heart of Soho to a seated
theatre in Leicester Square. Wristbands entitle its wearer access into all venues.

The complete list of venues includes the legendary 100 Club, Bar Rumba, Fopp, Heaven, HMV, ICA,Leicester Square Theatre, Madame JoJoís, Orchid, Punk, Sound, Borderline and The Fly.
As well as these venues, there will be more entertainment happening in and around Soho including pop up gigs taking place at Sister Ray Records on Berwick Street, the backdrop to Oasisís ĎWhatís The Story (Morning Glory)í album cover. Other unusual spaces include The Arts Theatre Club on Frith Street, The Coach and Horses on Great Marlborough Street, The Social on Little Portland Street and Walkabout on Shaftsbury Avenue.

Wristband holders are encouraged to explore the area and discover new parts of the city, new venues and new favourite bands, though we have now revealed where some acts will be performing. With some acts appearing on both days, including Doves, and with a number of acoustic and secret performances with special guests also planned, itís a real chance to experience music right on your doorstep.
On the night of the event, you exchange your purchased ticket for a wristband at the official wristband exchange venue (TBC) which allows you access to all of the venues (subject to capacity).

General tickets are on sale for £20 for one night or £40 for both nights. You can still get discounted tickets at
£17.50 for one night and £30 for both nights, exclusively through www.thelondonpaper.com/headliners or
taking your paper to any participating HMV stores.

thelondonpaper, the capitalís most widely distributed free paper, believes that at a time when leading Sohomusic venues are closing down, this event will reignite the music scene in the area with two days of noise, fun and talent. The sonic experience will showcase the diversity of Londonís broad music culture, featuring the best in pop, alternative, dance and more, performed across venues that lie on many Londonersí doorsteps, some o which are rarely used for live music performance.

It will also be a reminder of just how many vibrant live music venues do actually operate in this location.
