Funkington Manor Hits Manchester This Weekend...

Funk From The Trunk is the Bristol based DJ/promoter outfit and Keepers of the Funk! 

In 2011 we created Funkington Manor as a festival installation for Boomtown Fair which has been running for the last 3 years. Featuring an array of AV and interactive features, live DJ's and real interior decor, Funkington Manor brought the ultimate festival house party experience to a field! The success of Funkington Manor has been huge, reaching the point where we could no longer ignore requests to try it out in different clubs and cities, none more so than Manchester!

To celebrate the success and reward our faithful/faithless northern fans, we are bringing the Manor to Manchester, Photo Booth MkII and all! The Pub/Zoo is located in the student-orientated 'Southern Quarter' of Manchester and is the perfect venue for us to bring the Manor to life and have people up-rocking, popping, locking, and dancing their cloggs off till early morning!

Our debut in Manchester features our very special guest DIESLER. With sounds comprising a mixture of smooth, laid-back vibes and uptempo beats, from jazz and funk to Latin rhythms, Diesler has been remixing all over the place for labels including Ninja Tune (UK), Jugglin/Raw Fusion (Sweden), Tru Thoughts (UK), Catskills (UK), Freestyle (UK) Sunday Best (UK), Soultage (Japan) and Record Kicks (Italy). Away from the studio Diesler has been putting the miles of late, making DJ appearances at Festivals both in the UK, Europe & Japan, from UK super clubs Chibuku Shake Shake (Liverpool) & The End (London).

Diesler will be joined on the decks by the 'Four Funkateers';  Mr Lingo, Powercut, Ewan Hoozami & Vallee. On top of now having residencies at a number of Bristol clubnights and venues, FFTT can regularly be found rocking crowds at festivals and events throughout the UK and Europe. Funk From The Trunk are an established and respected name in Bristol music - "guaranteed party-starters!"
