Friction presents: Elevate w/ Koan Sound & Rockwell

As one of the drum 'n' bass family's most valuable members, Friction has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the ranks over the past ten years or so. The Brighton based, multi award winning DJ and producer has in his career been responsible for pushing the envelope of drum 'n' bass and establishing the mighty Shogun Audio label in the process.

Now enjoying regular airplay from the likes of Zane Lowe and Annie Mac, and himself landing the job as the Radio One's Drum 'n' bass ambassador in 2012, Friction is undoubtedly one of the scene's biggest names, recently culminating in his critically praised Fabriclive 70 compilation.

On the 1st of February, Friction brings his now iconic Elevate night to the appropriately dark and industrial Village Underground in Shoreditch, featuring a line up brimming with the finest in cutting edge drum 'n' bass talent.

Two of those players include Bristol based d'n'b duo KOAN Sound. Boasting a record label deal with Skrillex' internationally extolled OWSLA, and with a busier touring schedule than ever, KOAN Sound and their inimitable bass fueled acerbic drum 'n'bass prowess have become one of the hottest production teams in electronic music. 

Digital Soundboy and Shogun Audio favourite Rockwell joins the Eelvate team, as does the much championed Cyantific Music mainstay Dimension.

As one of the country's leading drum 'n' bass tastemakers, Friction has unsurprisingly enticed a wicked line up for the latest edition of his Elevate party. Drum 'n' bass heads take note.
