Frank Turner is set to play a massive show in Manchester in early 2019 as he exhibits tracks from his new record Be More Kind. The UK folk hero drops the album, his seventh studio offering to date, in May of this year and on Friday 25th January 2019 will give it a live outing with a show at Victoria Warehouse. An additional date has been added, with Frank also performing on Saturday 26th January 2019.
The Manchester venue will provide a significantly bigger performing space to Turner, who's heartfelt, socially aware songs are often reserved for more intimate spaces - however this show will give an opportunity for massive sing-a-longs and space for rowdy fans to get on their dancing shoes.
The title track from Turner's new album came out in February of this year and sees Turner at his string plucking best, with beautifully insightful lyrics telling the story of his new record in staggering fashion. Fans will be treated come his 2019 live date in Manchester, as the singer-songwriter works through his immense back catalogue, with plenty of new sounds thrown into the mixture.
In what is set to be a duo of huge shows, Jimmy Eat World are set to support on both dates.
