Sunday April 5th sees the welcome return of Groove Odyssey to Ministry Of Sound. Following a listening party for Louie Vega's latest album, the doors of the superclub fling open to welcome ravers desperate to relive the glory years of classic house music. The line up reads like a who's who of house elites, with Louie Vega naturally headlining.

Premier producer Atjazz brings his adored UK house sound to the fore too whilst a hefty line up of classic house gems get fired up by West London’s original Restless Soul giant Phil Asher.

The night also welcomes back one of the earliest residents of Ministry of Sound - a through and through house music aficionado of the highest order - CJ Mackintosh (hear him in the mix below).

A man at the heart of clubland in this country since the late eighties, his skills as a DJ have seen him nurture house music's development in London and across the country. We thought we'd catch up with the former DMC world champion to find out five of his favourite ever house records.

Voices 'Voices In My Mind' (Cosmack Master Mix)

One of my favourite remixes that I produced back in the day... so many great vocalists on here!

Janet Jackson 'That's The Way Love Goes' (CJ's Remix)

Another one of my favourite remixes that I did, with Louie Vega playing some of the keys and Kenny Dope dropping some of the beats.

Ruffneck feat Yavahn 'Move Your Body' (Mousse T Retro Mix)

Mr. T gets all disco on this. Mousse T was definitely one of my favourite remixers and producers.

Willie Ninja 'Hot' (Louie Vega's Why? Because I'm Hot Mix)

Louie's Original Mix was never officially released but was bootlegged, and it's still killing it to this day.

Johnny D & Nicky P 'Wild Kingdom'

My boys Johnny and Nicky getting all summer madness on this. Absolute tune.
